Mario2Mario Bailey, Outreach Manager

Mario grew up in Seattle and graduated from Franklin High School and the University of Washington.  He has worked with youth for over 15 years, as a mentor, case manager, and a coach. He is passionate about giving back to the community.

 

Isaiah Mahoney, Peer Connector

Isaiah grew up in the area and graduated from Renton High School. He has overcome many obstacles in life and feels passionate about helping young adults reach a brighter future. Isaiah works with the Y and is based at Interagency Academy.

 

Ann Marie Beasley, Peer Connector

A Seattle native, Ann went to Rainier Beach High School. She attends Seattle Vocational Institute and plans to transfer to the UW. She is self-motivated and passionate about helping young adults better themselves.  Ann works for the Y and is based at Interagency Academy.

 

Karina Oscoy, Peer Connector

Karina is a proud, second-generation Husky. At the UW, she studies social work and her goal is to become a youth advocate. She enjoys helping young people and likes the idea of connecting youth back to opportunities. Karina is based at Centro Rendu in Kent.

 

Jazmin Sanchez, Peer Connector

Jazmin came to the USA at the age of 6 and graduated from Kent Meridian High School. She is passionate about working with young people and families. She has a second job with the YMCA and has held her position there for three years. Jazmin is based at Centro Rendu.

 

Pavielle Montes, Peer Connector

At age 16, Pavielle dropped out of high school and continued her education at Learning Center North and Shoreline College CEO, receiving her GED as well as an AA degree and a medical assisting certificate.  She is the proud mother of a 4-year-old little girl and feels fortunate to return to Learning Center North to support other young people in achieving their goals.

Katie Weber, Peer Connectors Project Manager

Katie hails from Chicago, but moved to Seattle in 2010 and found her passion for working with disconnected youth.  After working in the GED program at the Orion Center, Katie attended grad school at the University of Washington, where she interned with CCER and ReOpp. She is excited to be working with and supporting the Peer Connector Project and helping them reach success!
