OmarOmar Aldaco-Silva, Peer Connector
(Kent, Federal Way & Auburn)

Omar has always been passionate about community service, but it wasn’t until he joined WELS that he got deeply involved. WELS’ focus on leadership, environmental education, and academics motivated Omar to become an outdoors enthusiast as well as a strong community leader and advocate. Omar is also a former ReOpp participant. He received his high school diploma from Renton Technical College and was so inspired by the experience that, when the opportunity to work for ReOpp came up, he did not hesitate to apply. Omar’s plans include pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
