Monte Holt
Monte Holt was born and raised in Renton, WA, as the oldest of five siblings. With athletics running in his family, Coach Holt developed a love for football at an early age, playing organized youth football from age 5 through high school. After graduating in 2006, Holt received a football scholarship to Arizona Western College before transferring to San Jose in California. Following a career-ending injury, he began coaching to impact the youth in Georgia. He eventually returned home to Washington married his now wife of 11 years, had 2 beautiful daughters and began his high school coaching career at Renton High School in 2016.
During his time at Renton, Holt coached both sides of the ball, became Defensive Coordinator in 2019, and was later named Associate Head Coach while also working in building and ISS Specialist. In 2024, he joined the Foster Bulldogs staff and served as the school’s Re-engagement Coordinator, continuing to build strong relationships with students, and the community.
Today, Monte is happily continuing his commitment to youth and community development through his work with King County Youth as an Outreach Specialist in South King County.
